Hi, I’m Leah Renshaw, a film and television student at Fordham University, passionate about visual storytelling, creative production, and the power of media to shape how we see the world. My work blends narrative intuition with hands-on experience across television, film, radio, and broadcast environments.
I’ve built a strong foundation through a variety of industry roles thus far. At Walt Disney World, I completed a creative internship within the parks that strengthened my skills in guest engagement, fast-paced problem-solving, and entertainment operations within one of the world’s most iconic media companies. I’ve also worked as a reporter and producer for WFUV Radio, where I learned how to craft compelling audio stories, conduct interviews, and edit broadcast-ready content. My writing experience extends to The Fordham Ram, where I covered campus culture and helped develop stories from pitch to publication. Most recently, I interned at News 12, where I gained on-set experience, participated in scriptwriting, assisted producers, and supported live broadcasts. I also worked on the new season of their series 'REVEALED'.
Across all of these roles, I’ve learned how to communicate clearly, collaborate creatively, and bring stories to life. I’m driven by curiosity, a love for cinema, and a commitment to creating thoughtful, visually engaging work, whether behind the camera, in the editing room, or in the field.
