I loved getting the opportunity to do service at Oakland's Safety Town Camp over the summer. I got to teach children about being safe as they venture further out into the world. I loved working with young kids and helping lead them in the right direction as they prepare to gain more independence.

The Holiday Festival for 2021 was unfortunately much different than the first one I did in 2019 before COVID, but I felt just as fulfilled after participating. I made 3 gender neutral boxes this year for elementary school children, and it brought comfort knowing that these kids would receive at least something small for the holidays. I am looking forward to continuing this into years to follow.

I got to work a couple events with the Father's Club during my high school years. Pictures with Santa and the annual Pig Roast were two that I helped out with this year. I got to be around children and watching them have fun, all while assisting the community.

The Core is a local band that is based here in Oakland, New Jersey. I had the privilege of controlling their sound and mixing for their performance over the past two summers. I learned how to operate their equipment and help them sound the best as possible.
